We started by installing the SamsonRiser™ in a storage tub filled with dirt. Then we placed the tub in a freezer and cooled it to -40ºC / -40ºF. Once the SamsonRiser™ climatized to the temperature of the freezer, we brought out the sledgehammer. After a handful of swings at the riser, we only managed to break the lid on the tub. The SamsonRiser™ emerged unscathed.
